Lawrence J. Dougherty Is Named Shareholder At Guerra King
Tampa — Guerra King P.A. is pleased to announce that Larry Dougherty has been named a shareholder of the Firm. Larry obtained his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as editor in chief of the Florida Law Review. After law school, Larry clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Larry obtained his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
Larry focuses his practice on complex commercial cases, the representation of federal equity receivers, and partner disputes. Larry’s litigation skills have earned him the highest peer review rating of AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell since 2015. He is the former president and a founding member of the William Reece Smith, Jr. Litigation American Inn of Court. Larry also is an active member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He has contributed more than 1,400 hours of pro bono service. Before becoming a lawyer, Larry worked as an investigative reporter for the St. Petersburg Times. His community service includes interviewing local high school seniors for the Princeton schools committee, and the Davis Islands Holiday Toy Drive.
