The commercial litigation law firm of Guerra King is pleased to announce that Jared J. Perez was selected to participate in the Hillsborough County Bar Association Leadership Institute.
The HCBA Leadership Institute identifies attorneys within the Tampa Bay area who have the potential to develop into Bar and community leaders. The Leadership program includes a development program; leadership development activities; networking with other attorneys and the public; and volunteer opportunities within the community.
Prior to joining Guerra King in 2011, Perez practiced with a large international law firm in Manhattan. He now concentrates his practice on general commercial litigation, with a focus on financial services and securities matters. He is part of the GK team that represents the court-appointed receiver nominated by the SEC in the Arthur Nadel $400 million Ponzi scheme. Perez graduated from Florida State University, cum laude, in 2002 and received his law degree in 2005 from Columbia Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York and Florida.

The HCBA Leadership Institute was designed to help participants gain and develop skills, knowledge, and relationships which will help them emerge as future HCBA and Tampa community leaders. The Leadership program consists of seven learning modules and culminates with the completion of a community service project chosen, managed, and completed by Leadership participants.
