Guerra King is pleased to announce that Cindy M. Innocent has joined the firm. Cindy’s practice will focus on commercial litigation, business torts, officer and director liability, shareholder and partnership disputes, and securities litigation and regulatory matters, including cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and blockchain technology.
Prior to joining Guerra King, Cindy practiced at a local law firm where she gained experience managing commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation negotiation, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, handling mediations, and effectuating settlements. She has represented individual and corporate clients in cases involving breach of contract, defamation, fraud, unjust enrichment, negligence, FDUTPA, and partnership disputes.
Cindy received a B.A. from the University of South Florida in criminology, and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, where she served as a member of the Law Review, as well as the Journal of International Aging Law and Policy.
