Tampa — Guerra King P.A. is pleased to announce that Larry Dougherty has been named a shareholder of the Firm.  Larry obtained his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as editor in chief of the Florida Law Review.  After law school, Larry clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  Larry obtained his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.

This Fellowship is bestowed annually by the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar, and it is a prestigious honor awarded to applicants who demonstrate the potential for leadership within the business law community.

Larry Dougherty, of counsel with the firm, recently partnered with a UF Law student in the 2021 Florida Pro Bono Law School Challenge, taking place through the end of March.  The Challenge combines pro bono and mentoring opportunities for students at Florida’s 12 law schools.

Guerra King P.A. is pleased to announce the addition of Chemere Ellis as an associate with the firm. A seasoned trial attorney, Chemere has represented the interests of the people of the State of Florida, government agencies, corporations, and individuals, among others. Chemere has served as lead counsel in forty jury trials and has served in the supervisory role of Lead Trial Attorney in the county courts of Pinellas County.

Tampa, FL — The law firm of Guerra King is pleased to announce that Kim Koves has been named a shareholder of the Firm. Kim obtained her law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2012, where she served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Stetson Law Review and a judicial intern for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Jenkins, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a degree in Political Science.
