Rob Jamieson joined the firm at its inception in November 2009, as part of the group that moved from one of Florida’s oldest and most prestigious law firms. Rob’s practice focuses on the litigation of complex commercial disputes, which takes him to federal and state courts, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings. Rob’s practice has concentrated on the representation of brokerage firms, financial institutions, registered representatives, investment advisors, insurance agents, corporations, and individuals in proceedings brought by individuals, federal and state regulators and self-regulatory organizations.
Rob enjoyed a great deal of academic success prior to becoming a member of the Florida bar. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business (B.S.B.A., Economics), he went on to obtain his law degree cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he earned distinctions in trial practice, legal writing and research, and appellate advocacy. Rob also served as a Research Editor for the Florida Journal of International Law and as a co-chair of the Securities Law Moot Court Competition while at UF. In addition to his studies in the U.S., Rob has also studied in his native England, taking courses in English legal history and European Union law at Oxford University. Rob’s academic skills have translated well into the practice of law, where his keen analytical abilities and confident writing have proven invaluable to the lawyers and clients he works with.
